FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) Are your desserts halal?
While we are not halal certified, we do not use any pork/lard related ingredients, nor gelatin and alcohol.

2) How much is delivery?
Standard delivery between 1-6pm is $10. CBD areas will require an additional $5 surcharge by our courier partner Lalamove.

3) Can I self-collect instead?
Sure! Our self-collection address is 406 Tampines St 41 #01-23 Singapore 520406, and self-collection hours are from 11.30am - 4.30pm.

4) Can I walk-in to buy desserts?
Yes you may! Our storefront is open from 12pm - 4.30pm (or until sold out!), Tuesday to Friday. Do check out our IG stories for the daily line up of desserts, as well as any closure notices on some special occasions.

5) Can I order the desserts in advance for my event? How long will they stay fresh? Do they need to be refrigerated?
Our desserts are best consumed on the same day of delivery as they are baked freshly every morning. But if you must, they can be kept for 2-3 days. Different desserts have different storage instructions which will be stated on a card attached to every main box.

6) Can I change the dessert items within the box?
Unfortunately the desserts are fixed and cannot be changed.

7) Can I make changes to my order or request for a refund after my order has been placed?
In order to process your order efficiently, we encourage you to check through carefully before confirmation! If you wish to amend your order, do drop in an email to thedessertparty@gmail.com with your order ID. You may only make changes ONCE.

We apologise, but we're unable to offer refunds after an order has been placed.

8) What happens if nobody is around to receive the delivery?
Fret not! Our friendly couriers will call the recipient if nobody is home to receive the delivery. If the recipient is ok to leave the box outside, he/she will. Kindly note that tart boxes require refrigeration so do bring it in ASAP. However, should the delivery address require intercom access and the recipient is not home, the courier will not be able to head up to the recipient’s unit and will thus require redelivery.

9) I am thinking of ordering for my friend but I don’t wish to include my name as I want it to be a surprise.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to do anonymous or surprise deliveries. Do inform the recipient that they should except a delivery between your chosen time slot, otherwise a $25 redelivery fee will be incurred. Redelivery will be on the same day, otherwise the delivery will be forfeited.

10) I have not received my order at the stipulated delivery time, what should I do?

11) What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payments through paynow, bank transfer or credit cards (additional transaction fees apply).

12) I am located overseas but wish to order for someone staying in Singapore. Is that possible?
Sure, no problem! Kindly select the bank transfer payment option for international bank transfers or credit card payments (additional transaction fees apply).
