About Me

Hi there! I’m Charlene, the one-woman show behind The Dessert Party. I’ve been running TDP for nearly 10 years now, ever since graduating from university in 2015.

As cliché as it may sound, my love for baking began at a young age. Over the years, I worked part-time in various cafés and bakeries, where I gained invaluable insights, recipes, and hands-on experience in the local F&B scene. After graduation, I gave myself just one year to build something of my own—but one year quickly turned into ten, and here we are today!

Beyond baking, I’ve always been passionate about creativity and bringing ideas to life. This naturally led me to dessert table styling, where I could combine my love for beautiful designs with delicious creations. Since then, I’ve had the joy of creating countless dessert setups, and it has been an incredibly rewarding journey ever since.
